The Creators Of Villa Ardore

Christian and Stephen refurbished the 500-year-old farmhouse and barn into what Villa Ardore is today–a private property that exudes quiet, luxury, but that still refers back to its roots as a Tuscan farmhouse. Christian and Stephen wanted to create a property that has all of the amenities that they had become used to in their home that they live in during part of the year in Los Angeles without diminishing the farmhouse’s Tuscan authenticity, or its connection to the Chianti region that they have fallen so in love with. They hope that while you are here, you will feel the love that they poured into the detailed restoration, and that you will come to think of Villa Ardore as your Tuscan home.

Native Tuscan, Francesco Goracci, is passionate about the heritage of Italian culture, cuisine and wines. An aficionado of the relaxed Italian lifestyle, Francesco will personally arrange experiences for you so that you can relax and enjoy your stay without managing the details.
Riccardo Vigni

Property Manager & Expert Gardener

A passionate property manager and expert gardener, Riccardo has led teams and important projects in some of the most prestigious properties in Tuscany over the last 10 years. Today, he takes care of the villa grounds as if they were his own.

Nature lovingly tended, guarding the beauty and harmony of the splendid villa gardens is what Riccardo calls his great passion. His favorite corner is the vegetable garden where he grows delicious seasonal produce for the guests and chef all throughout the year.
Cristilene Maria Lourenco

Head of Housekeeping

Cristilene, or simply Cri as we all call her, is originally from Rio de Janeiro and has amassed a wealth of experience in prestigious hotels and private properties since she moved to Italy in 1989. Passionate about maintaining pristine environments and providing exceptional and discreet service with meticulous attention to detail, Cri is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department and her team.
